A Very Unusual Wine Event at Brad Miller's
A Very Special Thanks Goes Out to our Gracious Hosts, Brad & Cindy for hosting this event. They did a fantastic job!
We enjoyed a wide variety of unusual wines and had a fantastic spread of food & snacks.
Some of the more exotic wines included an Italian wine from a wine region and grapes I've never heard of that was brought by Jennifer Vandeventer and an English White wine that tasted so bad, Ian couldn't get that horrible smell of cat urine out of his nose! (See pic above to the right) In the end, it was one of our newest members, Alicia Taylor, that brought a wonderful Napa, California wine made from the Charbono grape that took the prize for the most unusual wine of the evening.
I asked a few questions about our Wine of the Month, Sauvignon Blanc, to see if anyone actually reads what I put up here and gave out prizes to anyone that could answer the questions. Gina Richards answered one question correctly and won a bottle of our Top Wine in the Sauvignon Blanc Tasting Report.
A good time was had by all and when the wine finally ran out, the guests disappeared!
