Sauvignon Blanc Food Pairing
Here is a list of food presented by Harvey Steiman from
the Wine Spectator that makes an ideal match with
Sauvignon Blanc Wines with a few suggestions of my own:

·        Delicate fish in rich or hearty sauces, medium grilled
fish like swordfish, halibut, or haddock in light to medium
sauces

·        Lobster, Crab, shrimp, spicy or Cajun flavored
shrimp, scallops with light to medium sauces

·        Chicken with light sauces, especially white wine
sauce or even medium sauces like red wine or teriyaki,
fried chicken, Asian-inspired duck, turkey with light to
medium sauces

·        Pork, ham or sausages

·        Pasta in a variety of sauces like, light vegetable,
light oil-based, cream-based seafood, pesto, puttanesca,
primavera, alfredo, vegetable lasagna, seafood or
vegetable risotto and noodles with Asian style sauces

·        Cobb, chef, pasta, shrimp, lemon-herb and Caesar
salads

·        Steamed, grilled or stir-fried vegetables

·        Vegetable, potato-based, chowders, bisques or
chicken soups

·        Chevre and other fresh cheeses, Brie and other
semi-soft cheeses, Swiss, Gouda and other mild, firm
cheeses

·        Mexican style cuisine

·        Asian style stir-fry or cuisine

·        Spicy dishes
