The Dallas Secret Wine Society celebrated it’s third
anniversary with a Spanish Wines, Sangria & Tapas Pool
Party this past Saturday. I’d like to thank everyone that
came out and especially for bringing all the wonderful food
and wine. There were more Spanish wines than you could
shake a stick at! The food was first rate as well. This
year, some people even got in the pool for a change!
Our staff surprised me with a special card and a bottle of
2001 Opus One. Shawn presented it to me on behalf of the
staff and wine club. I’d like to say thank you to them for
putting up with me for the past three years! And thank
you for the very nice bottle of Opus. Perhaps we’ll share
it together in a decade or two!
The future looks bright for us. Perhaps next year we will
have visits from Duckhorn/Paraduxx & many other
wineries as well as some new and exciting events. Who
knows, we might even plan a field trip to the wine country!
I want to thank you all for your support and participating
in the events. You all have made all the hard work pay off
in spades! Thanks again!
